hello, we took the boat out of the water to have the bottom painted a couple of weeks ago and i thought i would show you the pics

this was when the water was drained away. its basically a big lock that you go into and they take the water away to do the work

this was once it was painted

it was really cool staying in there, as i bat would fly around in there at night

i have lived on this boat with Steve for two years.

before that we lived on a narrow boat, but due to an expanding family (3 cats, 4 pigs and a ferret) we needed a bigger boat!

i am sorry to say that i lost my ferret last december, but it is great to be able to have the pigs inside now. on the old boat, we made cages to go in the front cratch, it was all dry and draft free, but i always worried in winter
