Hello everyone! I’m new here and i got two adorable little baby piggies on friday, they seem to be settling in alright, coming out more everyday for their food and water. they still hide when i come into the room but i know that’s to be expected as they gain trust. at the moment i’m using carefresh bedding and it seems to be working well, but it’s quite expensive and there isn’t much in a packet! i’ve been reading that fleece seems like a good alternative, is this true? is fleece better than bedding?
thank you!

Fleece is excellent, to hold that wee you need to put 100/% cotton facing mattress protector or others us towels. With the fleece you need to wick it.
By the way we need pictures. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

they love cuddling up together🥰

Wood shavings should be fine for that cage.

But you may need to upgrade the size when they grow bigger

Welcome
They are super cute.

I also use fleece bedding. I have Finn and Lara living in seperate cages and they both use fleece beddings. Mine use their hay tray as their bathrooms so cleaning is a breeze. I change and wash their hay tray often, which minimizes the odor inside the house. I pick up the poop on the fleece bedding, which is just easy to spot.
I do use Carefree bedding in their hay tray/bathroom, which absorbs pee really well.

Fleece bedding has worked for us in their cages, with a little Carefree bedding in their hay tray/bathrooms.

Aww they are so sweet .mine are in separate cages due to some issue but we just started to use wood shavings we tried with fleece but they would sit and pee and sleep in one spot and that gave us some problems .the wood shavings dry up fast I’m hoping this would be good for them this time around .
