Hi

Well after lying to the chemist I finally got some Buscopan for the piggy first aid box yesterday. However, I still don't have any Expectorant, and although I looked while I was in there (Boots) there were too many and I wasn't sure which were ok for piggies - can someone please give me a brand name or a link to one, so I can be sure I get the right one?

Zippy is still up and down with his chest and I would like to have some on standy

Thanks in advance!

Sophie

Wish I could help hun but not a clue, one question though is the Buscopan in tablet form?

I think it's sudafed expectorant

I haven't been able to find any but could be looking in the wrong place.

Yes it is tablets for IBS, cost about £4 from Boots

Sudafed expectorant, dose; 0.2ml twice daily.

Thank you - and Lisa - I'll make sure it's that one I get! They only seemed to have Boots own brand...

Ta everyone

I got mine from superdrug, they didnt have it on the shelf, as they keep the liquid forms behind the counters in the chemist bit. :) I think it was £3 odd when i bought it in Jan.

Its the orange bottle you want not the blue one.

Well done for finally getting hold of some Sophie, it's awful having to not quite tell truths just to get something to help our guins! If you'd mentioned you were after some Buscopan, I'd have given you some for free; I've got three packs of it here. rolleyes

As the others have said re expectorant. The Sudafed Expectorant has an orange and white label. Someone recently came away from the chemist, after requesting the Expectorant, with the Elixir instead!
