Which food is best

You should go for a specific guinea pig PELLET rather than MUESLI but don't forget that they need unlimited hay too
 
Pellets are better as they are a complete food. They will give the guinea pigs all they need. I use Burgess excell nuggets.
 
I think it's a matter of personal preference, if you give muesli they may feed selectively, Gerty GP for example has colours in it which are very bad for piggies :(
Wagg is better but I use a mix of Wagg Optimum pellets (Now called Harringtons) & a little Wagg Guinea pig Crunch.

I have some Burgess Blackcurrant & Oregano pellets for them to try next, as lots of people recommend them on here.
 
Depends what piggy likes tbh,
I haven't got my guinea's yet so please don't quote me, but i've been looking into this and Burgess Excel is DEFINITELY favourite for this forum, for muesli (not many people seem to like feeding muesli due to selective feeding) but i've heard that Wagg is good

Gerty guinea pig is apparently one to avoid- hopefully someone will be along to shed a little more light on that but i think it's due to colourants and antioxidants etc.
 
I have wagg museli and I also have a pets at home own pellets I only got my guinea pigs a month ago so it's still there first food bags. They prefer the pellet nuggets to museli and I don't want to keep changing there food so I will stick to nuggets. Thanks for the replies they are helpful I'm really glad I joined the forum. :)

You are going to love your piggies when you get them they are the cutest things in the world, playful and lovable! :P
