Which Food?

Just wondering which food, would be best for my piggie Hamish, he is currently on Sciene selelative, but doesnt seem happy on it and he was under weight when I rescued him about two months ago and still has not put on weight, I know he is getting the right amount of pellet food, but he just wants to eat his veg and not his pellet food.
If anyone can recommend a food to try, please do.

Some other plain pellet feeds include:

- Burgess Guinea Pig Excel Tasty Nuggets -available "plain", or in Blackcurrant & Oregano;
- Pets at Home Nuggets - nutritionally the same as the plain Burgess, I believe;
- Oxbow Cavy Cuisine - made with compressed timothy hay, so nutritionally very good;
- Wagg Optimum - apparently along the lines of Burgess again.

Another one that goes down well with my lot is Charnwood Hi-C, although I can't tell you much about that one on whether it's a good one nutritionally. (Sophie brought a small sample along to help the new girls switch over to the new pellets, but all the pigs enjoy it!).

Those are the main plain pellets, there are also mixes.

For a good conditioning pellet I would recommend Wagg Optimum it certainly works on the poorly conditioned fosters/rescues
