which pair?

omg i am so exited, i havnt got any guinea pigs yet but i am getting some in september|) I cant stop looking at ads and rescue sites and i am driving my mum mad!@) i am going to get two, what pair would be the best combo, boar+boar,sow+sow or a neutered boar+sow? Which pair is less likely to fight and to get along?

The boy and girl combo are most likely to get along. But two girls should be fine too. Two boys are more likely to fight but might well get along fine.

If there is a boy that's already neutered and paired with a girl then that'd be good. But if not then I'd just go for two girls personally. I love girl animals, they're so pretty and sweet. But boys are lovely too. If you get a boar and sow, then you'll have the best of both worlds!

Ideal would be to get an already bonded pair (of any combination). Rescue should be able to help you with this.

If you get your piggies from a rescue, whatever the combination, they will be nicely bonded, so just look for two piggies that steal your heart. Could you limit that to two though? xx
