Ok at the moment my piggies are having P@H nuggots mixed in with a mix food but now that Pampered piggies are stocking pallots I'm going to get my pallets from there . It will save my dad geting it for me as its out of his way.

I just dony know which one to get there have had exal before and like it , i also have 12 piggies who i have to feed it too

which do y ou think i should get?

Pampred piggies

well nuggets and mix is fine but remember you need to gradually mix in your new food whatever you pick over a certain time period O0
Pellets are really good for guinea pigs so are nuggets so its really up to you ;)
If i were you id get the
Wagg Optimum Guinea 10kg ( £ 12.99 ) or the
Burgess Excel Guinea 10kg ( £15.99 ) :)

I'd go for the Burgess Supa Excel - clean bowls every time! Also it just looks a bit more substantial that the Wagg Optimum - but that's just my opinion!

i currently buy science selective and oxbow.. to my suprise lois is turning her nose up at the oxbow! but my boys have them as treats from my hand once a day lol life time supply of treats in one bag if madam wont eat them! ;D

all mine love the science selective, they wouldnt touch the excel, i havent tried the wagg one id like to eventually if this owbow doesnt go down well

I have used in the past Supreme Science Selective and clean bowls everytime!
The 3 pigs at Nathans parents eat the Selective and they adore it!
I am considering getting some Charnwood High C I will start a different topic about it.

Wow, thanks for that link, I had no idea that Sally was selling 10kg SS. I tried mine with it last year and they loved it but it's so hard to get I went back to Excel

I used to buy a mix with pellets and chaff etc.. cause it was the only thing available until my vets started getting in the Oxbow products... i now buy the Cavy Cuisine pellets and Duke has just fallen in love with them, they've been one of the reasons he's gained weight i'm sure O0 They're not cheap here but i'm sure they'd be much cheaper for you all :)

those pellets you set me glynis zoe and jessie wouldn't have a bar of them. :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: faline the bunny however loved them. the pellet samples you sent lasted for 10 days. our vet is getting some in , should i try againor just resign myself to the fact the girls won't eat pellets. :tickedoff: :tickedoff: any advice appreciated. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I'd try again if I were you. They'll eat it if they're hungry! Did you gradually add it to their food? rather than a straight swap?

i just gave it to them as before the oxbow pellets the girls were getting no pellets as the only other pellets avilalble are lucerne pellets and the girls don't like them either. they do like the mix though made up of grass, hay, chaff and bits and 5% of mollasses(cooler the weather the more mollasses added). but zoe's private area was a tad dirty though we could see no soft poops so we stopped the mix too. hugs and cuddles. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
if zoe's private area is a tad dirty is this a sign she has soft poops or will have them? please advise. thank you. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: as to animals eating when they are hungry this is what 3-5 vets said about our dogs and cats but the dogs and cats proved the vets wrong as we nearly lost them because they would not eat. they got all wobbly, didn't know where they were etc. we feel animals are like people, you can't make someone eat something they don't like. like for me you will NEVER get me to eat seafood! :tickedoff: :tickedoff: .
any advice on zoe's private area and tad dirty would be appreciated. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
