Jezzy floof is being a rebel and as well as refusing to go in her new cuddle cube, she's peed all down her legs. A lot. Its crusty and not helping her sore feet. She had a full health check on monday by the way and is very healthy and happy except for sore feet she keeps peeing on! So having got my gorgeous guineas foot ointment, I'm going to invest in some gorgeous guineas shampoo and give her a spring bum bath now the weather is quite mild.
Which of the gorgeous guineas shampoos is best for a floofy girl with dry skin, fine hair and crusty wee stains? Has anyone tried the manuka honey one? I thought it might sooth her feet... any thoughts appreciated!

Have you asked Gorgeous Guineas. they are really helpful if you are looking advice.

I use the kind and gentle lavender shampoo for one of my skinny pigs. She has an overactive grease gland and as she doesn't have hair all her body becomes slightly oily and attracts dust and dirt. The shampoo works really well and doesn't irritate her skin at all.

I know The Guinea Collected use the marvellous melts on one of their Teddys that has very dry skin, these have to then be shampooed off.

Sorry I don't know about the shampoos as my boars have the boar one. When Bracken was getting sore feet after his bladder operation I found the biggest help was vetbed in all his favourite sitting places, it stays dry longer than fleece although I did still have to change it every day.

i have posh and go,i have had some piggies that have had dandruff/fungal so use the neem and manuka shampoo on those, and it is very good, seems to keep the dandruff at bay.if you email Chrissy she is very helpful!

Posh and go is great but I’d ask Chrissie too, she knows her stuff and can advise on both aspects. She is a rodentologist with years of guinea pig experience.
