so I looked into my guinea pigs cage and there it was the white chalky urine and I look up what it is and its too much calcium which can lead to a bladder stone, so I've been freaking out because I don't know what to do their are so Manny different opinions and responses on it I just don't know what to do anymore, their 4 months old I slowly introduced romaine lettuce and carrots I'm still going to introduce more and I gave them carrots everyday and I found out that it wasn't good so I stoped and I feed carrots every once a week then I feed them the romaine lettuce and yes I give them pellets in their cage and water and Timothy hay I even got them 4 midwest guinea pig cages and put them together and they are pop corning and running round happily but I just don't know what to do can anyone help me?

It's quite normal to have excess calcium wee'd out. Was it smooth or was it gritty? Usually it's when it's gritty that it could be building up and causing problems.

My piggies have that. I cut out romaine and it's almost gone. They love the romaine, so I do give it a few times a week, just not every day now. I think some piggies have this reaction to romaine, but not all.
