Hi all, my guinea pig tucker has been experiencing white crusty ear, from what I’ve seen online it said to clean it out so I did and it seemed better but now it’s back to being as bad as it was when it first happened. I’m at a lose and truly don’t know what to do. Any advice would be great! I’m a New Guinea pig owner. Below I have attached pictures of his ear and a picture from goggle because i could not get a good picture of the white crusty myself.

Hi and welcome!

Please have your guinea pig vet checked and treated for ringworm, which is a highly contagious fungal infection which does jump species (including to other pets and humans) and that sadly far too many pet shop piggies come with.
You can reclaim any vet cost from the pet shop if you have it vet checked within a period that makes it clear that exposure and infection has happened at the pet shop.
Please never home treat on spec as you can treat incorrectly and make the problem quickly worse. There is sadly too much bad DIY information out there, causing untold suffering and death to hundreds of hapless piggies... It also makes any proper diagnosis so much more difficult for a vet, as you basically wipe the crime scene. :(

Please take the time to read the following two links; they are both important. The first explains your rights in different countries and the second how to get on top of ringworm once and for all. Good hygiene is crucial as the invisible spores are every long lived and can get everywhere, causing re-infection. This is the reason why ringworm is so common in pet shop piggies because commercial mass supply breeders and pet shops struggle to get on top of it. However they still continue to happily sell infected piggies to unsuspecting customers. :(
