One of my guinea pigs pepper, her eye has been looking funny all day, but after having a good look at it I’ve found a bit of white discharge coming from her eye, i’ll Attach a photo, but it looks kinda worse from down below, from the angle I took it at it doesn’t look so bad.

Just normal eye cleaning fluid.

Please take the time to read this guide here. It tells you body part by body part what is normal and what is not. You should find it very helpful and it may save you a number of worries!

White discharge is quite normal I believe it is like a lubricant / cleaner for the eye

Thanks for the advice everyone! I came home to find that there is even more discharge coming out one of her eyes, and one has a bit of discharge, but not as watery and not as bad as the other one. She is eating and is ok her eye just looks really bad and her nose is clear apart from when she sneezes then one nostril gets really runny, so I got her out the cage and listened to her breathing, it’s quite congested :( my mum won’t be back until tomorrow afternoon so the earliest we could get to the vet would be tomorrow evening :( plz help! I don’t know what to do, I love her so much :(

It may be that she has got something stuck under an eyelid, like some hay dust or a tiny piece of hay.

If things have not settled down by tomorrow or whenever you notice a light blueish film forming over the eye (ulceration), then please see a vet.
