Mylo has a lot of them, I saw them today when checking him. Anyone know what is it?

I think they are coming off. I have a lot stuck to my hand after checking him. He also has something on his tummy that i think is painful for him cause he doesn't let me see it. It had a bit of matted fur and something that looks like a black scab, but i am not sure if it is a scab or just his black fur. It felt a bit raised

With the combination of these little white things and him having something painful and unknown on his tummy, I'd suggest taking him to the vet's. Better one time too many than one time too few.

Yeah i actually did go. Vet said that thing is probably because he has scratched himself and is irritated. He scared me at the vets though i have never heard him scream like that. I asked her if he is in pain and she said its probably irritation rather than painful. But still gave me metacam and ivermectin for both. There were less flakes when she checked him. She also did an exam with uv lamp to check for fungus and said it is not that. I have never heard of using the lamp to check for that.

Yes a uv lamp is used to check for fungal issues but it isn’t a totally reliable method to rule out fungal (not everything fungal will show up using it)
