Has she been out in the garden at all? She could have picked something up on her fur or something.
I really don't think it's anything to worry about!
It might be worth just getting the vet to confirm the sexes while they're there too.
If its difficult to tell between male and female just by sight, you can feel the penis under the skin with your finger/s.
Sit the piggie upright on your lap with his back resting against your tummy. (Like you would do if you were trimming their nails)
Support them firmly but gently with your hand (if it helps keep them still with someone hand feeding a treat).
If you gently rub upwards from the bottom towards his tummy with two fingers, you will be able to feel it under the skin.
Its very obvious! I'm always astounded how well "built" these little guys are :red
Has she been with a boar recently? Have a look at this, under breeding :

It also mentions they can pass a discharge after ovulation, so maybe that is what it is?
That was what vet decided Storm had, hers was white too.
fingers crossed, does sound likely though xx
I was going to say it looks like a caul, but "amniotic sac" is the medical term for caul. And based on the guinea lynx information, it is not one of those! I do not have a sow, but I am glad to have read all this in case I ever see this. Now I will know not to be afraid. It looks like an amniotic (SP?) sack, but reading what youve posted it cant be.

Perfectly normal apparently! Must be lost in their bedding usually, maybe you are lucky to have spotted it? Lol!![]()
