White specs on fur

I have recently noticed these white specs on my piggies fur but don't know what it is. Any help?
(Don't mind the top of the photo, that is just bedding.)

It could be lice or it could be egg casings from mites. I would take them along to a vet for correct diagnosis and appropriate strength treatment
 
How did you get on with these white specs, did they turn out to be lice?

We haven't managed to get to the vets, but I have been watching closely and there has been no scratching, I will keep an eye on her and also try and get a vet visit booked!
