Hi all, so I was cleaning the area where my guinea pigs play (when I visit my boyfriends place on the weekends they get a full dining room space to play during the day and go into a play pen at night) tonight after putting them in the playpen I started my nightly cleaning of the floor and realized that there was a pee spot but it seemed like there was some white clumpy stuff in it? It didnt seem hard and it was really easy to clean up with a mop I'm just not sure what it was. Both my girls are doing fine. Eating hay as normal, drinking water, they ate all of their pellets today and had their veggies that they get morning and night which they ate quickly. They seem fine I was just wondering if I should be worried?

White pee is usually just excess calcium being peed out. If the white pee has a gritty texture you should get your piggy checked by a vet.

Thanks for responding. Yeah it wasnt white pee that's the thing. It was like regular see through pee but it had clumps of something white in it. It didnt seem hard as I was able to mop it up with one of those swiffer mops. I was thinking it could be the onset of a uti but I wasnt sure. They dont make squeaking sounds when peeing so I dont think that's it.
