White thread sticking out of vagina?

I have a sow of one-year-and-a-half and when clipping her nails today I noticed a white 5-7cm thick thread-like thing sticking out from her vagina. I got scared to be honest and I didn't even think about yanking it out. It didn't seem like anything that could have gotten into her cage nor did it seem to disturb her. The thing was completely white, and as I've said, it was sticking out exactly from her vagina (not ass).

Starting tomorrow it's national holidays and no vets are going to be available for several days, so I'm left to wonder what the hell could this be. Any suggestions?

P.S. Yes, she is a sow and yes it is coming out of her vagina, not ass.

And she is the only guinea pig I've got and she has had no contact with other animals.

It could be a natural secretion from the uterus, although 5-7cm is rather on the long side.

Just for a note, it resembled more of a elongated "sperm" fluid than a thread.

Should I try pulling it out if it's still there? I don't want to cause any damage to my piggy.

It can take a while for someone with the knowledge to help you to read your post.

Is she otherwise well? Eating, walking around?

I can't see any harm being done from trying to wipe the secretion away, although I am unsure about what it could be.

She is behaving perfectly normally except for that thing hanging out of her *****.

It is hard for me to say, as obviously I'm not seeing her in person, but given what you've described it's generally unlikely to be a serious problem. However if you are significantly worried, do pop her to the vet - better to get her checked over and your mind put at rest before the vets close for holidays. (Although vets do have emergency clinics, it does cost a lot more!)

Are you sure it is not a piece of hay or something similar?
Can you give a better description of the problem, please?
