My baby piggies have very white urine. I did some reading on it and it says it indicates too much calcium. I called the pet smart I got them from and was told this is normal that didn’t sound right to me so I’m posting in here.

Hi!
The occasional calcium pee is not a problem but if you see them all the time, then your diet is either very much too high or very much too low in it.

Please have a look at our detailed diet guide; it takes you through all food groups (water, water; hay (which makes around 80% of what a piggy eats in a day); a balanced mix of veg (ca. 15%; we have a picture of a sample diet and a list of what you may want to feed in which quantities and how often) and pellets (just 1 tablespoon per piggy per day to encourage your piggies to eat as much proper hay fibre and not empty pellet fillers), as well as information on treats.
Here is the guide link: Long Term Balanced General And Special Needs Guinea Pig Diets

The food guide is part of our much more comprehensive very useful new owners guide collection, which really addresses in practical step-by-step detail all the areas we get the most questions, worries and problems about to help you to as smooth a start as possible and help you to learn what is normal and what not. It is worth bookmarking and using as a helpful resource along the way. There are a lot of interesting information and practical tips in there! Getting Started - New Owners' Most Helpful Guides
