White Urine?

I began to clean the cage out for my two boys; Ruffles [my abyssian cross] went onto the plastic part of the cage and urinated. I noticed it was very white. Their urine is normally clear. I have noticed that their cage has smelt differently too.

They're not in their normal cage as I have come to my parents for Xmas.

What should I do?





Also, Rufus [my smooth coat] is making a croaking noise rather than a squeak...what does this mean?

I have just noticed that my other guinea pig, Rufus, has white urine too. [He just weed on me lol]

mine sometime have white as well.But not now - looks like some kind of food cause it.
Croaking noise when they try to smell something?

White pee is the body's way of getting rid of excess calcium. You may come across some "mouldy" looking poos occasionally where a piggy has splashed calcium laden pee over some poos.

Some piggies simply don't have a "big wheek". It comes out rather hoarse sounding.
