There really is no difference in vinegars. If you buy branded you are often just paying for the name. Grab the cheapest

Thanks all. How long do you leave it on for and does it get rid of older stains that have been there for a while?

If you have older or stubborn stains warm the vinegar up a bit in the microwave and it usually does the job of removing the stain.

How much white vinegar do people use in the washing machine? I assume you put it in the fabric conditioner part of the drawer?

I just squirt a load in when using it to wash the fleece.. works a treat! Gets rid of all stains..

I'm being a bit slow! Do you squirt it directly into the washing machine drum or into the fabric conditioner compartment?

I usually let it soak for a bit on stubborn stains, then give it a good scrub.
Vinegar is amazing stuff, when I've had none in the house and needed to clean up a cage I was borrowing during an emergency I actually used ketchup 😂 there was enough vinegar in there to work a treat! Took a few rises to get the tomato smell out though lol
