Pimple inside sack?

I clear my boys chronic impaction 2-3x a day (he’s a bit older and his muscle is weakened).
Yesterday I noticed this whitehead “pimple” looking bump inside the wall of his pocket when I gently folding it back to release his impaction.
And this morning it is ever so slightly larger/more noticeable. These are photos from last night- while we wait to hear back from our vet, I thought ❓I’d see if anyone here has ever seen this before and what it might be?❓🙏

Hi

I cannot quite see whether it is a potentionally infectious or a skin problem.

Please keep an eye on it and see a vet after the weekend if it keeps on growing; sooner if it suddenly starts swelling up very quickly and large (potential abscess). If it suddenly bursts, please disinfect and see a vet promptly as it may need flushing and an antibiotic may be necessary.

How to improvise a mild disinfectant with water and salt at home can be found in this useful guide here. See entry accident and injury (disinfection and bleeding): First Aid: Immediate Care Measures and Non-medication Products

Thank you, Wiebke :)

I was planning on doing a little warm epsom salt soak for him while I wait to hear from vet. Will use your guide for proper amount.
I also have a very diluted betadine eyewash solution that his ophthalmologist gave when he had his corneal ulcer. Again, am waiting to hear from vet, but if it’s safe, I could use a cotton pad on it with it to disinfect? It’s tough because it’s inside the pocket wall, up about a centimeter. I’ve attached a zoomed in shot, but still difficult to see with phone camera. It looks like a raised pimple in person. IMG_7639.webp

You can use a cotton bud or pad. Any mild disinfectant will do.
