I have 2 :D I would love a house of piggies but I like all the attention that I can give them by just having the two

I certainly don't. I have four. I would love more but I know I cannot afford it so the four it is. :)

:D I have eight at the moment. Once had twelve when six babies arrived unexpectedly! (Sadly had to give them away.:bye:)

Only 3 here, but if it was up to the kids we would have a whole herd.
Although if I stumbled across a silver agouti looking for a home it might be hard to say no.......

I can't wait for my mother to give me a double cage so I can have more. I wanted to adopt a little piggie from pets at home but havent got the space at the moment

4 is my limit (imposed by the OH)
We got two and now with babes we have 5, I was made to promise that all babes would be adopted out if we kept mom. I was not about to bring momma back to awful pet store so agreed. Now we are down to getting a home for the boy and keeping the girls so we would have four :yahoo:

24 at the moment and I'll be picking up another 3 sometime this weekend. I'll count up how many of mine are actually pets and how many I just took in and have to rehome.

Such a silly rule but I'm not allowed 50 pigs! Maybe one day when I grow up, move out and have my own house.

And no babies on the way so I shouldn't have an explosion any time soon though it is a possibility that 2 of my next 3 may be pregnant. The person had tried to breed them but now isn't looking after them properly. I took in the male a while ago. The third female was said to have had 6 stillborn pups.

I know it can be difficult to bond males who have been alone most of their lives but it really is necessary to get them a buddy.

I have a boy who really has to live alone because he passes on a disease which he doesn't show to other Guinea pigs. It breaks my heart that he has to live alone but I've lost 2 out of 3 pigs he's come in contact with. He always calls out for a friend, he's very, very talkative. He gets excited when he can hear other pigs and when I put him on the lawn he always tries to go see all the other pigs but he can't.

It really us beneficial to get him a friend. If it's possible to find a rescue which will allow you to bring him in and try to bond with other guinea pigs to see who he's friendly with that would be amazing. It is difficult to bond boars who have been alone all their lives but they get along with male pups. If you can't manage to bond him at a rescue shelter or anything like that you could try getting a young male from the pet store.
