One particular rescue piggy i have has started to become quite vocal of late ::)

It started off at just two time a day... morning feed and evening feed... "wheek wheek, come and feed me..."

Then it progressed to hearing the creaking of the stairs "wheek wheek come and feed me"... Then it progressed to most times i walk past the cage "wheek whek feed me you moron NOW"

I then went out this morning to buy some more veg for them and my rabbits and as soon as i came back..... put my key in the door.... and turned it...

"WHEEK WHEEK WHEEK WHEEK..."

I swear they are more intelligent than people give them credit for... I have been hankering after a dog for years now but the time isnt right yet and i need to wait until next year at least... but i thought as i walked in... I dont mind waiting so much now because even though they just want food its nice have a little greeting when you come in the door... :smitten:

Yeh! Who needs dogs!

Bubbleberry is my guard pig!

Whenever shes on the floor and someone, like a cat for example comes though the door (or trys to lol!), she sees them off! ;D

Id much rather have a house pig than a dog anyday lol!

petal and rosie when alive were like your piggies and would squeek at the slightest noise ::) ::) ::) it was a nice way to be welcomed home :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: we lost our dogs in january 2006 5 days apart and have not gotten another dog as our piggies come first O0 and MC would love to see the piggy chasing the cat wonder what your cat's friends think about it :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: mpiggies are much better than a dog anyday O0 :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

One of my piggies Sophie (RIP) was really bright, after I was burgled if any stranger wandered in my house she used to go ballastic and wouldn't shut up till I cuddled her.

Sparky some how nows when I am awake even though I haven't moved out of my bed and yells for brekkie he does the same when the alarm goes off.

I definately favour piggies over dogs, I always had cats and dogs growing up but since discovering the pigs i no longer fancy one of my own although they poo for england its hard and odourless and they don't have the capacity to vomit which suits me down to a tee

piggies rule

we have a cat and fish aswell as our piggy (freddy) but since having freddy i have fell in love with piggies n dont think i would ever want another pet apart from a piggy. my b/f even agrees with me now , wasnt to happy when i went to get another fish then came back with freddy , hutch the lot lol. It's amazing how the furry little things grow on u :)
