Esme has been having to come inside at least twice a day for the past week (almost!) and has had to have furosemide, antibiotics, occasionally pain killers and syringe feed. Now it definitely hasn't been easy particularly with the syringe fIeeding and has mostly ended up in both of us being completely covered.

It has taken a while but over the last few days we seem to have turned a corner and have managed to get her guts working properly, after a few mls of fibreplex over friday and saturday we have had a fair amount of poops and a much happier Esme.

Today she came in with Rosie, as Rosie is the only pig in the group who will not run around the room and cause havoc. I don't fancy recovering Tia or Ruby from behind the TV or under the cabinets. They have both had lots of fun today though.

So Rosie spent most of the time doing what she does best snuggling down so she was nice and cosy.

And then decided to jump on to the fireplace onto Esme's favourite blanket. Esme followed shortly after.

Daddy brought them some dandelions in. They didn't last long.

Nope definitely didn't last long at all.

So Esme got nice and cosy.

and decided that newspaper makes a tasty snack.

Until she got bored and decided to explore.

And then the poo chasing started. Luckily for Esme, Rosie is a poo machine and her ultimate goal in life is to completely cover an area in her poop. Esme spent the rest of the evening with her head firmly fixed under Rosie's bum.

Sniff,sniff...

TBC...

Sniff,sniff,sniff...

and some more

and again...

Comfy there Esme?

Oh Esme.

Rosie: 'Come on Esme, you're showing me up. I'm off!'

Some really gorgeous photos. The ones where Rosie's bum is in the air and Esme underneath are hilarious - but hey mission accomplished Esme got her poop!

Awwww look at her in that Cosy! drool x) - So pleased she is feeling much better

Rosie's is such a cutie her sheep bottom drool

I lol'd at the fact you can't bring Ruby or the ASBO pig in as they will cause havoc!

I'm glad you all find them funny as well. I was doubled over watching her- she was so persistent.
My Dad thought it was disgusting though haha

Lovely pics and great to see Esme hellbent on restocking her gut flora with Rosie's willing help!

Its nice to see her actually actively eating and pooing, compared to the sad girl from last week. I think the help to her gut flora has definitely worked.

Ruby and Tia were both brought in yesterday- separately of course to be weighed from that moment without some well placed barriers to stop them getting into mischief there was no way they could stay in.
Ruby and Tia are much too nervy to be left to their own devices even with close supervision. Whereas Rosie hardly wanders further than the edge of the huggies bed pad and Esme likes to free range down half of the room but comes to you when you call.
