We've had our pigs for almost 5 weeks and they are proper characters. Raven is definitely friendlier, likes being handled and will come for food quicker when hand fed. Robyn is slower to relax when cuddled but once she does she wiggles up under the chin and tucks herself in, headbutting until you fuss her! They are about 12 weeks old so I'm guessing hormones will be kicking in soon. Both girls are doing a stilted walk and waggle with a noise that sounds like a woodpecker. I'm thinking this is rumble strutting. Robyn does it the most and it often ends up in a chase with Raven squeaking away as she runs off, once she's got away she then runs over and nudges Robyn to start again! Some more pics taken after a session of chase, Raven got to the food first!20200804_182004.jpg8

They’ll figure it out eventually. Sometimes there is a very subtle difference and other times it’s obvious. Bear in mind that they can rumble strut, mount and hump each other when they’re in season.
