I'm pretty sure its Mallow! My other two sows drink out of a bottle "normally".. They bite the nozzle once, drink what they have in their mouth and so on..

This is what my 10 month old sow Mallow does! Every time! I tried giving her a hamster bottle to try as its as if the nozzle is too big for her.. But she is the same size as my adults now so dont understand! She wouldnt take the other bottle.

I dont think so.. Its always on lowest rung. I have two large cages joined by a bridge into an L-shape in the corner of the room.. The other cage has a more shallow base so the bottle is even lower, but she just lowers herself and her head so she can do the same thing.. So its just Mallow that does that then?! Haha

They all have a different technique I find :)) Vimto slurps and yanks the bottle, Sasspy is more dainty...

She do's seem? To be having some sort of a problem
As already said perhaps lower the bottle or try a diferant nossile

Are her insisers ok ?

Also there is somthing in the old foram posts about cleft palet.
Dont think for a moment that it is that, but it will do no halm to read up

My Ellie used to put the whole nozzle in her mouth & pull, it always made a right din, but that was her way & at least she stayed hydrated, I've never seen Grace drink in all the time i've had her! xx

That video is sooooo cute :luv::wub::love::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool: xx

I remember I got Fred a silent water bottle it had a little pin that they pushed up with there tongue. Fred would turn his head side ways and hold the pin. All the water would roll out the side of his Chin. It was an interesting technique and very funny to watch. We had to change water bottles as they would empty everyday imagine that.

Your little girly certainly has a unique drinking style.

Oh some of these stories do make me giggle. None of mine so far have been witnessed using any interesting techniques but when Bea was with us I always knew without looking when it was her drinking, I don't know what she did but she didn't half make a racket!
