Who's good to live with who?

Hi i know it's always going to depend on the piggie but whos it best to have piggies living with? So I know you can put girls together but how many boys can you have together can you have girls and boys together? If they are done of course! I was wondering as I would like to have 4 piggies living together in the end does that mean I need all girls are can i have done boys and girls? I have seen some boys I really like but I really want to start a family with quite a few pigs. Hope this makes sense if not I blame the strong antibiotics I am on at the mo lol.

The general rule is one neutered boy per group of girls. I have three (soon to be four) girls living happily with Boris. Two boys would still fight for the girls if they're neutered or not as neutering doesn't affect behaviour. Wiebke on the forum has a huge group of ladies with one lucky boy

Girls generally do well in groups of two or more. My three did well together before Boris arrived. Although all three of my big girls are pretty placid, even Pippa who is in charge.

Boys tend to do well in pairs. Some people are lucky enough to even have trios or quads of boys but I believe this is quite rare (I don't have an experience of groups of boys though)

It's all down to character though. Some people have pigs who will just not accept company.

Personally, if you want four, I'd have a neutered boy and three girls
