Not sure if this is a threat thats been posted before, but i was thinking about how completely different each pigs personalities are. I know discussions have been exhausted about whether specific breeds of pigs share similar personality traits or whether it's simply down to the individual, but i'm curious to know who your cheekiest piggy is?

This is Luna & she's a wee swine!
I've had her since February. The vet has guessed she is about 4 years old.
She came to me after being found in a bin at a dump. She was in a wee bit of a mess, but shes all better now. Shes the cutest wee nutter ever! She screams like a banshee with her ears flapping up and down for treats the second she sees me move, she's clumsy and trips over everything, she gets so excited she bites my finger and draws blood then does big spasm popcorns over all "oh, that one must be worth a treat!" like she was doing me a favour, she can fall asleep anywhere then gets mad at me for distrupting her beauty sleep (even though shes sprawled out on my textbooks while i'm trying to study!). Don't let the cute wee face fool you, shes a very mischievous piggy!

Please, post pics of your cheekiest piggy and tell a wee bit about them! would love to read them. x

Definitely my profile piggie, Miss. Treacle! She is now 6 years old and a right diva! She nibbles the bars consistently when there's even the slightest chance of food (first to start and last to give up!), has now learnt to nibble behind the water bottle when it is empty making a huge racket, and stealing food from her hutchmate! Not to mention she's a big explorer and always has us on our toes!

This is Mooli. He looks very angelic doesn't he? Everyday he chases the girls around and humps them no matter how they try to wee in his face. Whenever I look in the cage he looks up at me with a guilty expression. Often he is taunting one of the girls then runs away when I stand up. Guilty conscience! He is so cheeky but so loveable.image.webp

image.webp Nala is my smallest but definetly cheekiest. From stealing food out of Katie's mouth, hogging all the food bowls/tunnels and taking herself on wee walks around the house giving us all heart failure that we can't find her until a bag is rustled or fridge is opened. She wants to be cuddled and groomed but absolutely not the back legs. Such a little diva :luv:

image.webp image.webp This is dinky and my biggest pain ! Love her to bits but she so naughty she leaps out her cage when she sees the smallest chance , she has such big attitude you try touch her she does bloody flips etc until you finally have her she is so nosey it's untrue !

Oh god... its so hard to choose...

I have two cheeky monkeys. Matthew has always been my cheekiest boy but Ryou is certainly trying to take role of being a cheeky piggie too.

Matthew is my darling little ginger and white piggie here chewing the wall. One of his favourite habits when he gets to play outside of the cage. The walls, the doors, none of it is safe. If he wants into another room, he chews whatever is in the way.

He's going blind but that doesn't let it stop him. He loves causing mishief, kicking his cagemate Romano in the side when Romano annoys him or is in the way of something he wants - I told you he's a determined boy. If he gets annoyed with not getting his way you can usually find him chewing your shoes or kicking you or trying to nudge you out of the way to get at whatever he wants. He's an explorer I think.

Then there's Ryou...

He is my chubbiest piggie, a LOT bigger than he was in these photos. He is constantly at the bars, prefers to sleep at them to know always when I am around and chews the bars waiting for his pellets. When its vegetable time, he grabs the food in his mouth and starts shaking it around like a predator, shredding it to pieces and he LOVES to barrel his way through anything.
A month ago I even caught him sneaking up behind his wifepig, Sakurai, who had her head in the hay holder and was happily eating. He came up behind her, trapped her half in it and started humping her so she couldn't get away. I quickly told him off and shooed him away. Poor girl wasn't happy.
He is extremely stubborn too. He loves this one area of the guinea pig room, so when I'm cleaning the cage out and I've blocked it off, he spends half of the time trying to get in that area and he HAS managed to a few times, but mummies got a new trick of putting weights in front of it now. :))

I have three very cheeky piggies - the first being Patch. She's so greedy to the point where she actually hides food from the others. Always the first at the ramp.

The second is Rambo ... Rambo Rambo Rambo what can I say. Mouthy, nosey, greedy... When she's forced into a cuddle she actually attempts to slid off my lap. Will always try to nibble me as well what ever chance she gets.

The third is Abigail (Rainbow pig) she was such a little monkey. Always dodging me whenever I tried to catch her... I generally got the death stare most the time with her!

ahhh!
LOL! your pigs are so cute i could scream!
luckily i don't know where you live or i might be tempted to do some piggynapping! :bal: lol.

@piggyfan, oh don't even get me started:rant: Nasty, evil wee person whoever it was. It's ok though, ive told her it's cause she was so cute and pretty they couldn't bear to look at her a second longer ;). So, hopefully, if anything, its just inflated her ego.

What is it with people who dump furries into dust bins. Don't they realise what a horrible death they face in the truck crusher. My 3rd poochie was found in a dust bin at a school where then hubby was teaching. Fortunately someone heard his cries. Also saw a US telly program where someone had disposed of something like 6 newborn pups in their own dustbin on pickup day. Fortunately a neighbour who was putting out their dustbin heard the cries..

Back to cheeky piggies! Normally it is Peanut Butter who is messy, constantly re-arranges the furnishings, wheeks for his veggies so loud he can be heard on my back porch through the sliding glass door, and can be guaranteed to do a runner the moment he is on the floor with no barriers. Here he is at one of his favourite hobbies, upturning his food bowl.

Hazelnut, on the other hand, is tidy, cuddly and can be counted on to remain on the floor wherever there is fabric - he won't walk on anything else. This morning however, I found him lying inside a hidey that had been turned on its side and he refuses to leave it except to eat. Now it is probably PB that knocked it over. Hazelnut, who loves to have his head on the softest thing possible, may have discovered the knocked over hidey is to his liking because now he can lay down on the foam that gives the hidey its structure.

Aww patch is so lovely!

Luna was my first guinea pig and although i've only had her a few months she has grown on me and is the biggest sweet heart, only one of my piggies that doesn't run when i go to pick her up , she lets me pet her and comes up to the cage to say "Hi!" when i come around. although she's a bit territorial when it comes to her huts with the babies and sometimes hay especially with her sister Milli (actually got in a more serious fight today for the first time) but she is indeed a very cheeky mama

:luv:lovely luna.webp

The big one on the right is our old timer - 14 year old Neo, the little one on the left is Lily the 3 year old from next door, she spends more time at my house getting fed than she does in her own home. I think we may also end up with her, as Neo was from next door too! :D

I had an adoptee from a next door neighbour, Scatty. He was with me 13 years. Thomas is 3 years old, had him from 8 weeks, he is huge, compared to Yazz who is tiny, but just fat! At one point they weighted the same! image.webp

Haha my cheesiest pig is definitely Chico! He acts like a little angel when I'm bringing their veggies but as soon as they are in the cage he's straight over and always first to the bowl! This photo shows his love for hay...look at them pearly whites!

My cheekiest piglet is definitely Ripley. I'm sure some of you read the story of her rolling off the couch and my OH's hand one night and had a ball hiding under the couch for a few minutes until I coaxed her out with cookies.
A couple days ago Ripley grabbed the nozzle of her and her sisters water bottle, pulled it hard, and sprung it off the side of the cage. I sat down with them and told her that wasn't nice. When I put the bottle back up, she came right over, looked dead in my eye, bit that nozzle and sprung it off the cage again!
This went on about two more times and ended with me twist tying the bottle to her cage and warning her that when daddy gets home he's going to have a word with her. She didn't care lol.

This is Ginger, (the ginger one) LOL

He is such a cheeky little diva, he spends all day rumbling at Skittles and being the boss, he's the nosiest and naughtiest at veggie time, when i open cage to give them to him he will lean out trying to get to the veggie container so i have to be careful he doesn't fall cos he's on the third level up. When i set up their pen for floor time he gets really impatient and bites the bars and squeaks really loud till he gets in the pen.

If he's had enough of cuddles he will flick his head at me and kick!

He's just a cheeky little git, but i love him to bits.

:D

My cheekiest piggy is Connie who came from @The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue with her cage mate Violet. She is the noisiest and greediest piggy I've ever had the joy to share my home with. Cage cleaning is nigh impossible unless I remove her from the cage. She tries to eat the brush, climbs into the dustpan, goes under the fleece, and tries to jump into the hay tray as I remove it for cleaning. She's always mountaineering - climbing in top of everything and is so greedy it's amazing she's not more apple shape than pear shaped. But she has an incredibly loving personality and thinks nothing of giving kisses for no real reason.

In the other cage Ted is also cheeky. always rearranging the furniture. He's very timid when humans are around but when he thinks he's on his own he drags cosies around, turns houses over, and scatters poos as far as he can. He's a devil for jumping into the hay bag and apparently dozing in there but really it's to prevent his wife pig getting any hay!

hmm, I'm not sure which is cheekiest, but if i had to decide its Wicca The Destroyer, she is fairly timid, but loves to push things off other things, houses off the top, cups off desks, etc
