Why are guinea pigs so addictive?

Ok i know they are gorgeous facinating complex liitle creatures. But so are lots of animals. My guinea pigs have an entire bedroom to themselves and when i go in there i think iv been about 30mins and i get my bf coming up saying iv been in there a few hrs! I'm either with them talking about them or thinking about them. Everywhere i go I'm looking at things thinking could i use that for the pigs? My friends think I'm completly 98) and i thought it was their problem till just recently. I now have no spare room, my guinea pigs eat better than i do and i spend more on them than i do myself. So I'm admitting that my name is joe and i am addicted to guinea pigs. :). I just dont completly understand why. ;D. But i wouldnt have it any other way :smitten:

Me its rescues! just want to help them all! its a good thing Sokel is so far as i'd have all of his! But 5 hours each way is a bit extreem But shame can't help more

meeeeee tooo i'm always saying things like awww the piggies would love that or thats a good idea for the piggies my OH thinks i'm mad but his kinda catching the bug now! :D

i started with 2 in july, i've got 10 now! ::)

Iv just been up with mine now its its bizarre. I sit there talking to them and i know all their likes and dislikes and i find myself saying things like got your favourite veg today wombat i know its its not your fav sid but got to be fair you can have that tomorrow. Sorry its not the hay you like popcorn but the shop was out of stock and i had to get this type. i swear I'm going mad.

It is definitely the way you can chat to them and they answer back, Chewy always rushes out his bed and comes up to the bars when I come home from work which is just adorable :smitten:
 
The really sad thing is i imagine their replies to me and carry on the conversation. :embarassed:

It is their cute adorable faces, different and often loud noises, popcorning and chasing antics and their independence and dependance at the same time :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I love their chunky little bodies and the tiny legs, yet they can run so quickly, and the noise their claws make when trotting through cardboard boxes ;D

I love the way they run to the front of the run when we are close

I love observing and learning their personalities, each one so very different

I love the feeling of helping a pig in need
And I love the way they (some of them) snuggle up on my lap and fall asleep :smitten:

I think I love them so much cos they do talk back to you (probably telling you to give them more carrots!). My OH wanted me to get a bunny but I convinced him that GPs are far better - simply because they talk to you! He started off quite indifferent but now he's asking me what sort of pressy to get the GPs for Chrimbo! He also calls my little black boar nicknames when he thinks I'm not listening!

I also love their little mouths - they look like tiny little teddy bear lips! Bless them all 0:)

Ludwig always starts then Hercules joins in Sage some times puts his oar in and Bing and Fancis sit a watch so cute! ;D

The way they chat to you and make you feel like you're the only person there for them :)
When they have their 'accidents' on you and then look and say not me 0:)
I love the way the snuggle into your neck or on your lap and when they finally trust you, they close their eyes :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
Oh and the butt sway i love that, drrrrrrrrrrr howdy guys ;D ;D ;D ;D
Mind you they have some different habits, like eating their own poo and sniffing where they've weed ::) ::) ::) ::) ahhhhhhh that's why we love them cause they're just BEAUTIFUL :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Yep they do have lovely habits. Damon swings his bum up onto his food bowl and poops in his dinner! He then turns around and carries on eating! 98)
 
Shadow sometimes gets poop in his food bowl and its attached to the side of the cage! i think i have what is called GPOS which is basiically Guinea Pig Obsession Syndrome! hehe :D :D :D ;D i drive my mom up the wall and she is like NO MORE TALK ABOUT GUINEA PIGS! she thinks i am crazed and i am totally, and lovin it! i sit and think and think to death about guinea pigs, i even made up a list of names for future pigs that i want so far i have 6 names in mind that i love. hehe, ;D ;D sometimes i start singing guinea pig christmas carols and my mom just has this amused look on her face, oh, and i talk to my guinea pig in cooing sounds and gushing noises i love guinea pigs and i am totally and completely insanely obsessed with them! how could you resist there cute stubby legs and faces and their noises they make? its beyond me! i am even sorta considering joining a guinea pig fan club! probably not a good idea otherwise i will get even more crazed and obsessed!
