So i've had sooty & sweep for about 4-5month, & they grew up together & lived together when i got them.( BOTH BOY'S ) but these last 2 days Sooty has been Trying to "hump" sweep ( that's the way it looks to me ) & then chattering there teeth at each other

I tried to take a video of him doing it...

Shortly after the video, a fight broke out & they had pulled little clumps of hair out of each other.. :{

does anyone know why they doing this?

i let them out daily. they have been fine until these past 2 days

hormones and dominance. All boys do this. If it breaks into serious fights it would be best to seperate them for their own safety

Dominance. If you got them young they've reached their naughty teenage hormonal stages. Except plenty of teeth chattering, humping and rumbling. Be sure that they have plenty of space as well as two of everything. Let them work it out without much interference BUT watch for loud teeth chattering and aggression as fighting (if blood drawn) would lead to seperation.

Do your boys have lots of room and two of everything ?
The terrible hormones are kicking in now at this age - bit like know-it-all teenagers throwing tantrums (no offence to our young members rolleyes)
I've had this with both sets of boars but they do get through if you make allowances...space is usually the problem or two strong minded piggies who wish to be the top pig :( If one will be submissive, they will sort it out, if not, you may be looking at separation as a last resort and finding another piggy buddy for each :x
Girls can be as bad - my little Sally didn't like Amelia my top pig in the herd and they fought. Sally went sow dating and came home with two little friends whom she loves dearly and they live very happily together :)

they don't have 2 of everything, & i only have a 2 by 3 c&c cage with upstairs kitchen... because i haven't got much room at the moment. they normally cant stand to be away from each other. today is first time they had a fight so will have see how it goes. i really dont want to separate or get any more piggies just yet :/

2 x 3 C&C is 28" x 42" if it's the standard 14" grids so this could be the issue. Do you have any spare grids to make it 2 x 4 or use the ones from the kitchen ?
Don't want to sound as though you are doing anything wrong here but boars do need space more than girls as they are far more territorial :)
Pop another dish in for pellets, veggies etc. and see how they go - as Weibke also says, spring brings a 'bounce' to their behaviour. My six girls were having an all out orgy in their pen last night but are all crashed out today :{ Probably start again tonight when I'm trying to watch the TV :))
Just keep a close eye on them as they can inflict some nasty injuries if they do lock into battle so be prepared - scary I know, have been there a few times.
Hope they settle - keep us posted :)p

Could you try to introduce a humping soft toy to at least draw off some fire?

my piggy were exactly the same sadly the vet said my piggy max (who was destressing dax ) had to be castrated then three weeks later dax sadly died of old age so if you want my advice speak to the vet

Castration does not really change their behaviour but in all honesty, Benny was humping and chasing my Frankie around the pen that I was at my wits end for Frankie :...
We had them neutered and Benny has never done it since :)) They continue to live happily :))

put olbas oil on both of their rumps, and a titchy bit just above their noses, used to stop mine dead in their tracks...

Thanks! I Might try that! ive rather not go through having them neutered

As said neutering wont change their behaviour...they will still want to hump each other rolleyes
Maybe if you could give them some playtime out of the cage..... in a safe area, they do love a good run around and exploring :) It's good exercise for them too :)
