Well today was the day I went to find my lovely Grace a new pad mate- sadly my poor beloved Ellie had to wend her weary way over the rainbow bridge :(

She was approx 8yrs old &had 2 loving homes. She was battling with a few health issues but it wasn't to be &I was with her when she slipped away peacefully Monday night last week :(

Grace had got a bit lonely &friend of the family had a some guineas that needed rehoming. So I went &had a look.... Only trouble was I couldn't make up my mind ... Ended up coming away with two pretty little girls :eek:
Oops can't count!
Why did I do that ;) ?

She said if either didnt get on with Grace I could take them back &we could try one of her others :)
I will try &post some photos tomorrow when I'm less shattered & they're more settled :luv:

They seem to get on ok ... In so far as one of the newbies pushed her way through the temporary wire divider to be found snuggled up with Grace in the pigloo

So sorry Ellie has passed. I hope the new girls settle in well, and you and Grace love them.
 
Sorry for your loss. Hope the new piggies get along well with Grace it sounds like they've already started the introductions!
 
Thankyou everyone. Ellie was such a special little piggy. She taught the vets &I so much. We also learnt a lot from this forum &especially @helen105281 with her conditions so thankyou Helen too :nod:

I think grace is wondering why the light is out &she has two 18month-2yr old squatters?!
I'm led here in the dark listening for squabbling- glad to say none so far :)

I haven't bothered with quarantining as one of them has already been snuggled up to her.

Sorry about Ellie. I know how you feel with the ones who taught you so much. x

The new girls sound adorable, especially the breakaway one who wanted to cuddle with her new friend. Sounds like they will get on just fine. :)

Well the escapee sounds a real character and it's wonderful that all is going well so far. I'm so sorry about Ellie, and was happy to help as much as I could.
