why do I keep looking at the free ads?

Just spotted three male guinea pigs free to a good home, so tempted but not going to go for them, ok so I will have the room shortly but the idea was to get rid of a cage and change it for others ones to make the place tidier and easier to look after not create more work lol
Does anyone else look at the ads and feel guilty they can't take on more piggys?

i do all the time, i look for the free animals as so many are can get snapped up by people who want snake food, thats how i got some of our pets as they were free and i couldnt resist not giving them a home as i know i will look after them

Yes I do but it's not just guinea pigs, it's all animals needing a loving forever home. Not sure why I inflict pain on my heart as I do but there you go....mallethead

I just dont look, or try not to. Went in p @ h few weeks ago, very young piggie with cataracts, talked myself out of getting him. Went back a week later told hubby if he was there I would have him. he had gone and I felt so guilty. So I am not going in that shop ever again. xx nor looking at the ads for second time around pets...:x

I got a hamster cage via gumtree but I have never took the animals I see loads but people want money for them , no way am I paying for peoples unwanted animals and I am not going to travel miles to collect them either. I offered a home for free to a pet and told them they could see my current ones to see it would have a good home but they never responded.
