I'm an early riser, always have been so by 7.30am ive always been outside and sorted my boys out. Hay, veg and nuggets etc.
I always get them out and give them a cuddle and a smootch. But everytime I step outside they squeak at the top of there little voices, they even do it too the dogs when they go out to go to thr toilet. Does anyone elses do this? It is funny and I do giggle when they do it. My neighbour popped her head over the fence a few days ago and said "For something so small they make a loud sound" :)

It's adorable, isn't it!? I think its fascinating how smart the little are. They probably associate the opening door to attention and get super excited and simply can't handle it. Our two bores always get overwhelmingly happy when someone walks up the stairs. They think they're going to get veggies every time! They even begin shaking the bars "Give me my food now, woman!"

Its funny you say that, my boy is always the loudest in the morning before they have been sorted, he has super hearing too, when i am between rooms, as soon as i get near their room he starts quietly (as if to subtly remind me he is there) then if i walk past without actually going in i get shouted at! :))

Its so cute i wouldn't change him for the world, he is my only boy and he's so gentle and loving.

xx

It's so funny, I suppose they must expect to get fed over and over and over again haha! The squeak when the dogs go out there, they dog looks at me as if to be like 'there they go again'

I sometimes have really early hours - I can be up at 4.30am or arrive home from work at 6am.. and the pigs know they wont get anything. But earlier this week they had their dinner really late.. nearer midnight than the usual 7-8pm and to make up for it a later breakfast to at 11.30am. Ever since they go nuts whenever anyone does anything. I have to rush around buttoning them up with strokes and churning the hay over before they wake my housemates!

when my partner had a motorbike they used to wheek (inside the house) as soon as they heard him coming home on it! :))

The hoover sets our piggies off, even the baby girls we've just adopted have learned it's food and cleaning out time :)
I only have to carry it into the lounge and they all start wheeking :x

I like to sit next to my boy Cluster's run, and he doesn't like me getting up as it usually means I'm going out and putting him back in his cage. Even if all I'm doing is getting him his veggies, he still wheeks til I come back! I like to think he misses me...

My boys do the same thing, only when anyone walks upstairs! I keep my boys in my bedroom, since I don't really go out much it gives them all the attention they need, god forbid they hear a bag rustling from downstairs, they automatically assume it's veggie time and go mad! It's lovely when I come home from college :D
