Some GP's have long faces and others have "round" faces?/

Half of my pigs have little round faces whilst the other half have very long faces:{

That's true! The newest addition to the herd has a very long face! One of my other short haired does too. But the rest, especially my two Abbys, have quite short, round faces!

It must be a breed thing, I suppose? I really don't know!

very strange isn't it! :{

I have a tribe of tri smooth haired pigs, some have long faces and others have the little round faces, my peruvian has a round face and so does Henry, Haribo has a very long face too!

fudge reminds me of a chubby rat but I thought she just hasnt grown enough to have the nice guinea pig face - it might be she is a longer faced piggie then, I still love her

It's like anything really - you can have different variations of the same animal... loose example, if you think of a spaniel, you could have a springer spaniel, or a cavalier king charles spaniel, or a clumber spaniel.... same basic dog, but aesthetically look different.

It's just breeding and genetics (boring!)

I have one with quite a chubby flat face, a real ratty nosed pig, and a middling one! I haven't decided what Jeff is yet!
