Why does Betty keep getting mites?

She has been scratching excessively for the past few days, took her to the Vet yesterday, and mites again. Fourth time in 2 years.

Usual treatment, had her first injection yesterday.

Anyone any ideas as to why she is prone to them?
 
Some just are unfortunately.
Anything that lowers the immune system can make it easier for such parasites to become a problem - stress for example can lower the immune system
 
Some pigs are more stressy than others and as @Piggies&buns says stress lowers the immune system, and parasites are opportunists. So for some piggies it’s a change of environment, a change in companionship or sometimes disguising an underlying illness that can set them off. Hopefully the situation will soon be under control and she will feel more comfy.
 
Yes I'd read that stress can trigger it but Betty is very laid back so cant imagine that stress is a factor.

Oh well I suppose we will never know!
