Why Does My Piggy Do This?

Aww so sweet. You have a greedy piggy there. The coughing sound is a reflex when they are eating too quickly

Oh is it shall I still take him to the vets cause I've never heard this noise before and worried about him x

I wouldn't worry about it tbh, both of my boys do it occasionally because they're both greedy &!#%s. I once saw Comet spit out nearly an entire spinach leaf while doing it once because he apparently forgot he needed to chew it but it's not an "abnormal" noise to be making.

as long as its only happening when he eats you should be fine. My Daisy does this every single veggie time. Once it was constant and quite severe and I was going to take her to the vets but I think something had irritated her as I syringed a little water and checked her an hour later and she was perfectly fine

It is good to have it checked out, but the coughing is hopefully just down to greedy and too fast eating. I have got a few of them here as well.

Thank you all yeah he only does it when he' eating otherwise he's fine in himself wheeking away and popcorning around lol think I will still take him to the vets for peace of mind xx
