I know its not out of fear, but recently when I put his dinner bowl back in his hutch or take it out he will wait by the door and nipy hand. He wont run away after either he stands there. He doesn't make any noises either no teeth chattering no bum rumbles. Poor norman is really a shy soul he just hides in his tube whilst neville is being naughty. Even when I get them out on my lap ill be stroking or combing them and nev will just nip. Not all the time but most of the time. Ive been out this morning and he hasn't done it. But he did yesterday and a few days before that. Any suggestions?
impatience? My girl does it when you go to put her back in her cage. She can't wait to LUNGE into the hay even though she loves coming out.. it's the putting back bit she gets a kick out of.. if I take to long arranging her in my hands so that she doesnt land hard she gives me a nip as she turns her head to the cage..
I don't take it personally, I think it's just a "move it!" kind of thing.
