My boar Marley is always itching Ik w new Guinea pig owner so I don't know if this is abnormal x

How long have you had him and where did he come from?
Lots of piggies get unwelcome visitors on their hair and skin, and sometimes if you look really closely at their fur you can actually see lice.
I also had an itchy boar and multiple checks didn't show anything, but it turns out he had mites that can't actually be seen without taking a skin scraping.

Does your boar have any little scabs or sores on his body - this can also be a sign of mites.
Have a good look at his fur and skin and if he still seems itchy then maybe make a vets appointment for him.
Thankfully treating most parasite infestations is relatively straight forward.

All guineas have the occasional scratch but if he is scratching regularly or much of the time it would be worth taking him to the vets to get checked out. If you have not had him long, then he may be feeling stressed and may have some form of parasite that needs treatment. Stress lowers a piggy's immunity and such infestations are not uncommon in new piggies. Please don't try to treat it at home on spec with an over the counter preparation. Please get a formal diagnosis from the vet and they can give you the correct treatment at the correct strength.
