Why is my pig so weird!

Ok so this isn't a health issue it's a Milo issue - he sleeps in the most Random spots and looks like he's dead it seems to be getting more and more normal. I pat his head his body couldn't get any lower to the ground and he takes no notice so I look to see he's breathing.. phew chest movement, another pat and nothing.

Turn round to get the camera - so I can share the fact I'm not crazy and Milo is sat up having a scratch!

Oh my god your heart must beat so fast when he does that! You have such a relaxed little boy!
 
My girls do this sometimes apart from they always move when I go to open the cage door! It scares the life out of me. I'm sure your Milo thinks its great fun scaring you! :))
 
Moments before reading this i watched my girl sherbert do the exact same thing She was standing up then suddenly flopped to the ground and squashed herself as flat as she could and looked as dead as she possibly could. I think they do it deliberatly just to scare us into thinking they're dead. {:|

Perhaps - I must say I'm getting a bit fed up with it! Any of my other pigs could do it and that'd be fine but Milo makes me extra paranoid I think he know's it! :))
 
What a fright!

My Willow once scared me like that. She was sleeping really flat and her eye was rolled back! I thought she was dead! I poked her, and woke up and gave me the evil eye :))
 
one of our ginger pigs piglet flops out and does this all the time, made even worse by the fact he is often ill. he then glares at * when * wake him up to make sure he isnt dead! :-)

Velvet does this too........i think some piggies just seem to be soooo chillaxed..... i am guilty of prodding Velvet and also getting the 'what did you do that for?' look :p
 
god what a scare! glad i havent caught either of mine doing that - although if mine sat still for 5 minutes when i am in their room that would be nice LOL!
 
:)) Milo is such a character! I also prod Dottie....:)) it's that glazed over look they get in their eyes when they are asleep! It's a little disturbing!rolleyes
 
I once caught one of my previous piggies, Dibbs, lying in the sun on his back with his legs in the air! Sunbathing! I actually squealed which woke him up lol
 
Stress is bad for your health, and Milo is clearly stressing you out by doing this. I'm a very relaxed person. Maybe he needs to come and live with me? :))
 
A pig I had called Harry used to do that and I was so used to him not responding when I'd go "Harry!" but if I chucked a bit of food in he'd jump up and eat it. He of course didn't one day though :(
