So I am wondering if there is a reason why piggies get upper respiratory infections? One of my lot may have one, so have got some observations going on, But am considering whether being outdoor piggies increases the possibility?

Many thanks.

Drafts, major jumps in temperature and dampness all contribute to URI and UTI problems in outdoors piggies. URI is also quite infectious, especially in piggies whose immune system is beleaguered.

If you can, please bring your piggies under cover if at all possible or at least increase the winter-proofing of your hutches.
