She's my head girl, but she has calmed down a lot from being the uptight wiggler with the razor sharp claws. I must admit that she has been under the radar a bit for most of the time (at least in pictures), considering all the big characters and newly rehomed arrivals I have been posting about!

Such lovely piggies but I think Fflur steals the show - an unbiased opinion of course :))

I love the photo of Nia, with her head tilted to the side like that, she looks so cute! And Cariad is just..............STUNNING! x)x)X) Be still my beating heart! That said, I love Taffy and Telyn too. Who am I kidding? they're all gorgeous! x

For Sue G who can't see the slideshow!

Wiebkes wheekers. I love it! Such beautiful piggies posing so brilliantly.

Wiebke, thank you so much for this. I've actually bookmarked the page, to come and look at again and again. I adore all your piggies, I don't think I can have a favourite, unless it's ................ no, I can't. They are all just so beautiful.

I wonder if I could pignap any ........... hmmmmmmmmmmmm ..................

There will be a body search before you leave the house! ;)

Thanks - I love them all to bits; each for different reasons...

They are all stunning but I admit my heart melted a little bit more when I saw Nia, she is gorgeous, please don't hide her away :)

The photo of LLewelyn cracks me up, such a content fella he must be. They're such a beautiful pack though, such healthy and happy looking guineas. They've all got excellent names too, are they Welsh in origin? I might have problems if I had to pronounce a couple of them!

They are all Welsh names indeed; here is how to pronounce them and what they mean:
Llewelyn: tkhloo-EH-len
Fflur: FLEER = "Flower"
Nerys: NEH-ris = "lady"
Nia: NEE-ah = "bright"
Taffy: TAH-fee = (unisex form of David) "beloved"
Telyn: TEH-len = "harp" (she's the vocal one!)
Cariad: KAR-yad = "darling"
Ceri: KEH-ree = "love"

I love your little piggie gang!

All the names seems pretty straight forward except for Llewelyn. NOTHING in the spelling of his name suggests the pronounciation :)). I will google up a little bit on Welsh. I like languages :)

I never would have guessed that's how you pronounce Llewelyn, complex! My Floris is named after a little dog I once loved. Don't tell her though, because he was a boy. Mark was already named, its not what I would have chosen but I have to admit the guy suits his manly name. I can't leave out my Pippi even though she is no longer with us. She was a little red head so she was named after my childhood hero Pippi Longstocking. Much to my delight her character was also very similar to the real Pippi Longstocking so we always had a lot of fun together. I reckon we could probably start a new thread about guinea names and why we chose them...!
