Well Drusilla's hair is looking madder than ever - she looks about 3 times the size of the other pigs at the moment! She looks like a walking wig:

Think now the weather's warmer she'll need another GG shampoo and trim, bless her!

She's got a bit of a centre parting by her head but then the back end - well!

What fab hair!...lol Does it keep growing and growing? Such lovely curls. she'll have all the boys after her! :smitten:
 
It seems to just keep growing - I read somewhere that it grows an inch a month or something, when you see pictures of them in books they've got even more hair than that but it doesn't look very practical!

I've got a boy Texel, Mojo, who has got amazing girly curly locks - will get some pics of him next!

Out of all my long hairs the Texels are the worst to keep in good shape because it's long and curly - at least the Perus are silky and the shelties are just long - but both is a nightmare! I tend to keep it a bit shorter but she's been growing her hair on the quiet! LOL

OH my word what a stunner! Dougal suits his name so perfectly! I just want to pick him up and ruffle him! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

He looks all clean and combed though - poor Dru always looks like she's been dragged through a hedge backwards! A hippy pig, she is.

whats the secret shampoo you use on this pretty piggy (piggie essences) lol looks good anyway
 
I'll do a before and after with Drusilla when she has her bath - what do you use on Dougal, Graham? I used the Posh n Go from Gorgeous Guineas on my other Texel it worked a treat

Impressive hairdos. How do you get them to stay still for grooming. When Gus was young I used to try to groom him and he looked like this.

But he used to hate it, even when I bribed him with parsley and carrots, he used to chatter his teeth and kick out at me while I was trying to comb him so now he gets a crew cut every so often and looks like this

Feel horrible when I cut it all off I love his long hair but it just doesn't work withoutthe grooming.
 
Oh yeah I'm like that with lady and i dont care what she looks like as long as she looks happy cause normally you cant see her eyes and i feel horrible for her so chop it all off ;D ;D
 
:D :D :DHEHE, the first two piggies are adorable. I work at a nursing home and they do look like awig that the ladies wear!
 
wigs! :D My long haired pigs have to have regular trims, they hate being brushed ;D
