Hey guys its me again. Well it seems everytime i post here its because I'm so lost its not funny. Well i somehow got another piggy. Not sure how. This time its meatball which is a brother to clifford. Well those to get along as they remember each other i guess. But it seems that turtle hates meatball. ahah he hate everything and everyone. But besides that what is this deal with them swaying there hips and makin like a purr type noise? I have heard it plenty of times but not sure what they are doing I'm thinking it has to do with ol sexual senstation (sp) but I'm not sure.

Also how come they each have there own corner and they do stay together?

I'm a noob at this I'm sorry

I know you guys will come throuh tho yall always doo

Thanks in advance

Brandon

when mine pad from foot to foot and " purr " etc ( the guys) theyre threatening each other

its them trying to be dominant,
just let 'them get to it. there's nothing you can do to make them not do it again!

Rumblestrutting! ;) - and doesn't that word just describe it!
It's what boars do  :D - either to impress the sows or to show each other who's boss. Normal boarish behaviour in other words.
You may also get a bit of mounting  - again a dominance thing, trying to establish who's boss - doesn't mean they're gay!  ;D, and the other thing they do is nose-to-nose stuff where they either go face to face and raise their noses or they kind of make a jerking movement with their nose in the other one's face (but without making actual contact)
This is all normal behaviour for boars living together, especially in the early stages when getting used to each other.

As long as you don't get anything worse, don't worry.
If they chatter their teeth at each other - a lot- and get up on their hind legs facing each other, raise their hackles at the back of their necks, bare their teeth - these are all signs that they may be about to fight.
But what you have described is just boars being boars ;)

rumble strutting is aperfect word for it, as already said its a dominance thing but do keep an eye on them as it could turn nasty

Yes be careful we had to separate Duke and Sully as Duke was the alpha and gave poor Sully absolute hell at times. But we were able to put a wire divider between them so they could take to each other, which they did all the time :-* :-* We did still put them together for floor time and we'd get the usual rumblestrutting and teeth chattering so would give lots of treats and that seemed to settle them down quickly ;D ;D

Hmmm my boys all do this. The strange thing is that Bailey seems to do the bum wiggling purring thing when I stroke him so goodness knows what that means. He seems to look like he's enjoying it anyway!

thanks for the feed back. That helps me out alot. Yall have been a big help to me this whole time.

thanks again

Brandon

no probs ;D

and i dont think your gonna have to seperate them unless they can smell female! then things start getting nasty but keep an eye on 'them little guys

They don't have to smell girls to fall out, my boys got on fine for a year, then decided they hated each other, had to separate them and get them neutered and then get them a girl each
