Wilbur pig

Wilbur crossed the rainbow Bridge yesterday after we discovered he had lymphoma a few days ago, he progressed quite quickly so when he stopped eating/drinking yesterday we took him to the vets to do the Kindest thing for him.

Feel so sad - it's mad how a little guinea can have such a big impact in your life!

He loved his giant dinosaur bed & giant pink "queen" bed, peppers and his wifey Peanut (who has been bonded to another pair we have and is just settling in with them) and he would literally stare at us most of the day like a shark at the front of the cage haha, yet was shy when you approached and would dart off. He was a chunky boy, had a very cute unique little squeak, cute little pink lips and a big wobbly walk.

I know you had a great life with us Wilbur and we had a great time with you ❤ love u, miss you!

Thanks so much all. We buried him today in the garden, with a slice of pepper and a lettuce leaf - his favorite! And gave the the other pigs a slice of the same pepper.
Weirdly and I'm not kidding, a rainbow appeared just after we filled the hole in which lasted just a minute or so, maybe he was saying goodbye
