Wild bird poop!

I have a stable which I put my piggies in when they cant go out on the grass, the only thing is that there are swallows building their nest in it and their poop is going on the floor, it is mainly in one area so I have put something round it but there is the occasional poop in random places which I clear when I see it but my question is......Can the piggies catch anything off of the birds?
 
I always thought bird poo contained mites and lice ... not sure if they can be caught by piggies though.
