My babies hardly eat and sort of food, but they eat loads of fresh food, if i didnt give so much fresh would they eat the dried food if they were hungry or is it that they are filling up on fresh, they are only extreamly tiny

They should only be having two handfuls of vegetables a day. Their main diet should consist of hay. It is vital that hay makes up 80% of their diet.

Mine do - they weren't eating many of their nuggets so i dropped some of their veg and they only usually leave a few pellets now, i'm going to increase their veg soon too.

have you tried changing their dry food, maybe they just don't like it?
I think they normally will eat if they're hungry enough?

They may not eat a lot of pellets if you feed too much fresh food. As long as they eat plenty of hay, they will be fine.

Please weigh them weekly. http://www.guinealynx.info/weigh.html

mine are diddy hun they are only 180g and 270g anyway so have been keeping an eye on there weight anyway but at the moment we are struggling with ringworm too ( i know dont ask) these piggies are havinga rough start to life bless them ( so are we too):(

Have you thought about mushing up your pellets with some water so they can be nibbled at more easily? I am sorry that you and they are having such a bad time!

yes if you pour some boiled water on them they will mush real easy. Leave to cool of course before offering but some nuggets are large and they may just find them a pain in the bum to break up and eat, especially if they're trying to recover from other things.

Mine are on the harringtons that are really tiny anyway but will still try

Mine never liked harringtons but do like burgess excel. You could try the mushing and if no joy maybe introduce a new food? Also, to save some expense you can go to the company's website, and ask for samples, if you ever change the food, to save you buying a whole bag :)
