Will GPs need one each of everything?

We are thinking of getting 3 sows if we can.
Will they need 3 of each of everything ? So 3 water bottles, bowls, beds or will they be able to share?

Yes. And hides have to have 2 exits.

I have two trios of piggies. They definitely like to have their own beds. However, each cage just has two water bottles. I don't use food bowls as we scatter feed both pellets and veggies. This encourages their natural foraging behavior.

Yes, the hay is the most important of all for their wellbeing and to avoid stress should be easily accessible to everyone at all times. It is a good idea to weigh the piggies to make sure everyone is eating enough.

I used to have a huge c and c cage set up with 6 sows and a boar. I put a hay tray at each end of the cage and two water bottles and 2 water bowls. I also fed veg in multiple piles around the cage so that if any underlings got chased away from the food there was always another pile elsewhere.

How exciting to have 3 new sows.

I have 2 sows now in a 160 x 80cm cage. I use half for their fleecy area with a bed to hide under and a water bowl and the other half has a large hay rack (wooden magazine holder) and two small litter trays full of hay. The hay half of the cage is covered with fleece and they love being in there.
