Will it hurt their lil' feet?

I was just wondering if I put my guinea pigs on the patio will it hurt their little feet? Would it just be best if they stayed on the grass?

I've put my boys on the patio with a nice helping of straw and a blanket.
I dont leave them on it go long but it does help to wear their claws down

Never tried it because when my neighbour put hers out on the patio they peed and just stayed in that spot so thet had really wet bums and they had to be bathed :{

If you have a patio next to grass piggies quite like having the option of both so you can put your run half on patio half on grass (:
Eddie and Ollie would love it like that, and as mentioned before it's great for there nails !

That would be great if I could do that but my patio is raised up! So that wouldn't work! My girls would probably love that too!

Nevermind, if you lay a fleece blanket or something soft out at one end, that would be quite nice too, i think they just like being able to have different feelings, and some times patio's get quite warm under the sun, so the fleece would be a cool soft refuge ! (:

Yeah I was thinking I about doing this! How long would you recommend leaving them on the patio for?
