Will My Guinea Pig Protect The Other?

Hello, i have two guinea pigs, the love each other so much and are always together.

I have a cat who likes to watch them.

If my cat ever did go for one of piggies would the other protect that guinea pig.

I have a 4 year old pig and a 7 year old pig.

I doubt it. Guinea Pigs are prey animals so instinct would be to run from a predator. With other animals in your house you need to make sure your piggies are secure at all times.
