Poor William is now getting humped on left right and centre. I am keeping an eye on it all so he doesn't get too stressed etc.

Bless him though he's being such a sport - he simply kicks Alan & Clive away or rears up to them, they get the hint, but try again 2 minutes later rolleyes There has been a little teeth chattering, but nothing vicious has come of it.

They love each other really x)rolleyes and DO snuggle up together and chill out - William is also teaching them both lots of things - I just feel so sorry for him - especially with boar juices flying here there and everywhere. :))

William gets extra cuddles and treats for being so patient, I was wondering though if anyone has any hints or tips to distract Alan & Clive from William?

They have toys to hump but ignore them and things to climb on to exert their energy etc, is there anything else I can do?!

I know boys will be boys etc, just poor William rolleyes:))

I believe you can put something on them.........but i don't know about this :{

they will get tired of this well whee can hope sooner rather than later........... as the lovely patient William will eventually turn around and say PEE OFF YOU LITTLE PESTS! :(|)

maybe try something else new in the house for them to turn their attention to this? maybe a new fiddlestick house..... ?

lots of kisses for the WAC team xoxoxoxoxoxo

Have they got run time (minus Wiliam) with lots of tunnels and tight places to squeeze through, little hurdles to jump over etc.? It is very difficult at that age - too much enrgy and hormones running through their bodies.

Sending William a bottle of virtual halo polisher!

Definately let them run lots and lots without William. We've had to do that with Suilven. He is just so energetic he is pestering Merry all the time. Having lots of floor time and lots of popcorning and dashing around the living room has helped.

I would guess that poor William is sporting the same 'There's something about Mary' hairstyle as Merry just now...

Wheeks to your boys from Merry and Suilven.

Thanks guys!

Yes William gets taken out for about 15 minutes at a time (any more than this and he pines for the boys) so Alan & Clive can exert their energy - although they spend most of it wheeking for William rolleyes

The top part of the hutch will be available for them hopefully tomorrow *fingers crossed* so there will be much more space for them to run about etc. I've kept it closed off as Alan & Clive were SO small I didn't want them to hurt themselves. But they are now HUGE :)) so it's ready to be opened!

Have you tried putting a teddy bear in for them to hump? I know Suzy uses them when bonding boars.

Hahaha... Keep giving them toys... Let them have loads of running around time to spend their energy!

I am in exactly the same position with Alan and Oscar; poor Alan is trying so hard to be dominant but it's difficult when a little 14week old whipper snapper won't stay still long enough for you get get onw paw up on!

Hehe-And I feel your pain with the boar juice; mine are in a 5ft x 2.5ft run in my kitchen at the minute and I have to stand in it every now and then to reach things....not a pleasant experience I can tell you! :)>>>

They have Steg the Triceratops who is intended for humping but it does not work out this way rolleyes There are also numerous teddies we put in at different times to distract and engage them, but they would still prefer to hump William rolleyes
