I wanted to start a thread for my Willow & Acorn. (Willow has kept his name, but Flora is now Acorn) Just so that all the photos and general updates I post on here are in the same place, all neat n' tidy :)
First off.. a few photos from our first lap time a couple of days ago. When I still thought they were girls. I absolutely love their markings. I especially love Acorn's ginger butt stripe, and Willows floofy black face when the rest of him is white and light ginger! (It still feels weird calling them hims, but the idea of having two little baby boys is growing on me!)

and last but not least.. my daughter trying to get a closer look! She won't sleep in her cot so we took the base off it and nailed it into the floor so that she can't get into the cage or pull on it. She loves to sit there like that and watch them quietly for ages. She's so good with them. I keep telling her that they're "guinea pigs" and today she said "gigig" which is close enough for a 9 month old!

Just got back from their weekly veg shop. Last week they had little gem lettuce, parsley, cucumber and bell peppers. They liked everything but the peppers.
This weeks veg menu:
Curly kale
Wild rocket
Pointed cabbage
Celery stalks
Celery leaves
Cucumber

And of course their daily portion of nuggets, their evening bowl of fresh grass and dandelion leaves and unlimited hay. 😊

Great idea to have a thread like this.
I shall enjoy your pictures.
I love the one of Acorn on top of the wood hidey.
My Jemimah used to sit like a little Sphinx on top of a hidey like that when she was a baby.

Aw, sweet little one! That's fantastic! She's fallen in love with them. :luv:x

I got some really nice photos today now they’re feeling more confident around me. Acorn is especially confident, Willow is still a bit unsure but we’ll get there, and if we don’t ever get there I’m fine with that too, he’s adorable.

Hooman can't see me behind this grass, can u?:

I got some grass seeds today so I can start growing my own grass on the balcony for the piggies! The communal gardens grass got cut today so they won’t have any for a while :( can’t wait till mine grows!

Haha, yeah :') Willow & Acorn eat so much grass so quickly, I could start renting them out for their lawn mowing services!

Having some snuggles with willow wrapped in an old hoodie, he seems to have decided the sleeve is a brilliant nap spot. 😍

Here's a few photos of Willow and Acorn from the last week!

First off, isn't Willow adorable? Look at that fur!

They're both settling in wonderfully. I'll have had them for a whole month on the 4th of July. <3

I realise it's been a while since I posted pictures of Willow and Acorn. I haven't had a chance to get all the photos onto my computer. I do have quite a few to post!

They're both still getting on well together. Lots of popcorns and zoomies every day! They wheek at me every morning demanding their veg as soon as I walk in the room. Acorn comes up to the side of the cage a lot to say hello, he's the braver one of the two. They are so cute.
